Turkish Airlines signs deal with Lebanon's MEA

New agreement expected to increase visitor traffic between both countries Turkey's flag carrier, Turkish Airlines, signed a new cooperation agreement with Lebanon's Middle East Airlines (MEA) on Thursday. During a ceremony at Rafiq Hariri International Airport in Beirut, Turkey's ambassador to Lebanon, Cagatay Erciyes, said the deal would encourage more visitors from Turkey. He said: "Turkey takes first place for Lebanese tourists. This agreement will provide more tourists from Turkey to Lebanon and will contribute to the Lebanese economy." Turkish course for foreigners in Muğla province draws interest

Turkish course in the district of Fethiye in Muğla province is attracting the interest of foreigners settled in the region. Around 100 individuals are now attending classes to learn Turkish, reports said. Students from different countries, including Russia, England, Albania, Italy, Ukraine, Poland, Belgium and Iran take Turkish language classes to not only learn the language, but also familiarize with the culture, communicate with neighbors and to make it easier for them to carry on with their daily lives. The Director of Public Education Center İsmail Cazağ told the Anadolu Agency that the participants were very happy to live in Turkey, and that the beautiful nature of Fethiye was a special reason for them to stay in the region.
